- Account Data: When you sign in via Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
- User Content: We store the movies and TV shows you save, your watch status, and your social connections (following/followers) in Firebase Firestore.
- Device Information: We collect FCM tokens to send you push notifications about social activity.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the NxtUp service.
- To facilitate social features, such as friend discovery and matching interests.
- To provide personalized AI recommendations via the Gemini API.
- To send real-time push notifications.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.
5. US Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a resident of California or other US states with privacy laws, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt-out of the sale of personal information. NxtUp utilizes TMDb for movie metadata and Google Gemini for AI analysis. These services have their own privacy policies.
